Joe Crow is a British musician who began his musical career at the height of the British punk era in 1977 as a member of one of Birmingham's most well-known punk acts, The Prefects. While the band only released one album, they are considered a classic of the era; performing with The Clash on their "White Riot" tour. After The Prefects morphed into The Nightingales, Joe stuck around to perform on a few early singles before going solo, releasing the 7" "Compulsion" in 1982.
