She is also part of the sub-unit Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi with her fellow group member Seulgi (슬기). Irene is also known for playing a lead role in the movie Double Patty (더블패티) (2021). The movie's soundtrack consists of the song "A White Night" which was sung by her.
