
Harry A. Mudie (born c. 1940 in Spanish Town, Jamaica) is a Jamaican record producer. In the late 1950's, he launched his own sound system "Mudies Hi-Fi", before going to the UK to study electronics and photography. In the early 1960's, he produced sessions by rasta drummer Count Ossie. Throughout the 1970's he produced numerous musicians on his several labels: Moodisc, Jungle, Afro and Jukebox. He worked with King Tubby to produce some of the strongest dub albums of the mid-’70s.
