the fugees, a hip-hop trio that consisted of lauryn hill, wyclef jean, and pras is one of the most popular trios in hip-hop. the group was formed in 1992 in south orange, NJ in the usa. they released their first album "blunted on reality' in 1994, which did not see much commercial success. until 2 years later when they released their 2nd and final album '"the score" in 1996, the album was a major hit and cemented their legacy in hip-hop as one of the pioneers of the jazz rap genre along with using reggae and soul elements in their music.
