Ewy (they/them) is a queer punk musician from rural North Yorkshire now based in Leeds. They are a self proclaimed 'minecraft pvp pro' and are 'very passionate that snufkin and moomin are gay lovers'. Ewy started writing music because they were 'deep in [their] Nirvana phase n wanted to be like Kurt Cobain'. They started by sending song demos to their friends through unlisted youtube links. They state that they make music about capitalism death and love focusing on queer and political themes.
