1) Emer was a d.i.y. punk band from Erechim, RS, extreme south of Brazil. They were active from 2004 to 2007. Their classic line up was Gio and Rafa on the guitars, Julio on the drums, Nora on the bass and Gui on the vocal, sharing duties with Rafa. Their music is a emotionaly charged straight forward melodic punk rock with great political and personal lyrics. At the time they were active they were compared with other punk rock acts such as garage fuzz, hot water music, face to face, among others.
