Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. It was founded by Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums). The band has featured a rotating lineup of additional musicians for studio recordings and live performances. Hughes and Homme are the only consistent members, although Homme has rarely performed live due to commitments with his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. The current touring lineup includes Hughes
