DEZERT is a Japanese visual kei band formed in September 2011, initially under the name And Emily, then Acid Cherry King, before becoming DEZERT. Vocalist Chiaki (千秋) and bassist SaZ (later known as Sacchan) formed the original lineup, which expanded to include guitarist Miyako and drummer SORA. The band is known for its dark, intense music, focusing on themes of human pain, struggle, and the grotesque aspects of life. DEZERT's early years saw limited promotion as they focused on cultivating their sound
