French pop sensation Claudio Capéo (real name Claudio Rucoulele) first came to the international public's attention in 2016 as a contestant on Season 5 of the French iteration of the popular reality series/singing competition The Voice. Born in Cernay in 1985 and a gifted vocalist and accordion player who has also dabbled in heavy metal and Afro-jazz, the multi-faceted artist began a solo career as a pop singer in 2008.
