Cardi B first gained public attention through social media platforms such as Vine and Instagram, as well as through her role as a cast member on the VH1 reality television series "Love & Hip Hop: New York". She released two mixtapes between 2016 and 2017, which helped establish her presence in the hip-hop industry.
