Biography Portland, Oregon's Bright Red Paper is usually billed as Virtuosic Indie Cello Rock. The group played their first live show May 5, 2005, and since then have come to play in a wildly diverse assortment of halls in the Pacific Northwest. The music created by the quartet is what happens when a guitarist brought up on Northwest indie rock matches wits with a classically-trained cellist.
