
Brett Anderson (born 29 September 1967 in Lindfield, Sussex, United Kingdom) is an English singer-songwriter best known as front man of British rock band, Suede (1989-2002 and 2010-present). He also fronted The Tears with ex-Suede guitarist, Bernard Butler, although as of 2006 they are on hiatus. So far Anderson has released four solo albums. The eponymous Brett Anderson came out in 2007, as Suede were on hiatus. 2008 brought the quieter, piano-driven Wilderness.
