
3 Doors Down is an American rock band from Escatawpa, Mississippi, formed in 1996. Their music has been described as post-grunge, alternative rock, and hard rock. The band achieved mainstream popularity with their 2000 debut single "Kryptonite", which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. It was followed by their debut album "The Better Life" (2000), which became the 11th-best-selling album of that year, was certified septuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)
