My Dead Girlfriend are a Japanese shoegaze/noise pop band from Saitama, Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed in July of 2005 by guitarist Yuki Ishikawa and his classmate, guitarist Yuki Otsuka. The present line up of band members includes Yuki Ishikawa on guitar and vocals, Megumi Ideta on vocals and keyboards, Akihiro Kinoshita on guitar, Tomoaki Kunii on drums, and Megumi Kawakami on bass guitar and vocals. In 2006, founding guitarist Arakawa left the band.
