Zhang Jié (张杰), also known as Jason Zhang, born December 20, 1982 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China is a Chinese pop singer, songwriter, and actor. He debuted on May 15, 2005 with the album "第一张" (The First Album) and rose to fame through numerous televised singing competitions. In 2004, Zhang Jie rose to fame after winning the first season of My Show (我型我秀) and was signed to Shang Teng Universal. His first single, 北斗星的爱 (Love of the Plough) earned Zhang numerous 'Newcomer' awards
