Melika, alias Nkisi, makes a statement with her music, but also nurtures, inspires, comforts, and energises, creating an infinity of evolving non-conforming possibilities for her creative pursuits. She established herself in London’s underground scene via her vivid club-fuelled tracks, demanding full attention with exhilarating energy when heard. Her music evoking references from gabber, doomcore and African club, to the sonic spirals of sci-fi and 1970s Italian horror films.
