Often compared to the styles of Common, Strange Fruit Project, and The Roots, Kero One is a full time deejay, producer, emcee, and record label owner from the San Francisco bay. Since 2003, Kero One has released over a dozen 12" records on his own imprint "plug label", collaborated with or produced for artists such as Talib Kweli, Grand Puba, Ben Westbeech (Giles Peterson, UK), Aloe Blacc, Dj Mitsu, Ohmega Watts, and toured all over the world performing his songs and/or deejaying parties to move dancefloors alongside the likes of KRS 1
