Kenn Starr is a rapper from Suffolk, Virginia, currently residing in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Starr is a member of the Low Budget Crew and also the duo Isaac Jones. His solo debut, Starr Status, was released in mid-2006. 1== Recording history == In 2001, Starr joined the Low Budget Crew, which also included D.C. locals Oddisee, Kev Brown, Critically Acclaimed, and Cy Young. His connection with producer Oddisee landed him a deal with New York-based indie label Halftooth Records
