Exoteric Continent is a solo project of Barcelona based artist Arnau Sala Saez started in 2010. With Exoteric Continent, soundworks are structured by the idea of sequencing as a starting point with techniques that are open to abstraction. Sala utilizes synthesis and magnetic tape collage to materialize ideas that emphasize concepts connected to the contemporary social or political context. These themes suggest an open debate based around the contrast between science, tradition and superstition.
