Elliot Goldenthal (* 2. Mai 1954 in Brooklyn, New York) ist ein US-amerikanischer Komponist von Konzert-, Kammer-, Film- und Theatermusik. Goldenthal ist ein Schüler der Komponisten Aaron Copland und John Corigliano gewesen und hat an der Manhattan School Of Music u.a. Trompete und Kompositionslehre studiert. Darüber hinaus spielt Goldenthal Klavier und singt im Bariton. Er hat sowohl den Bachelor als auch den Master-Grad in Komposition erworben.
