In 2006, the history of Detroit Diesel began. Back then, the EBM scene was cooling down, and it was evident that there was a need for fresh products. It was during this time that a tradition of harsh, fast, and powerful music was forged and thus Detroit Diesel was born. 2008 The first demo, Dancing with Terror, is launched. The song, "When Darkness Falls", appears on Endzeit Bunkertracks IV. Shortly after, Detroit Diesel underwent an internal restructuring.
