BLACK VELVET was formed in early 2007 in order to create their own interpretation of punkrock music. It was not about being louder, faster or cooler than anyone but it was about being authentic and expressing their own thoughts about life, society and all other things on their minds. In their music they combine punkrock with a sophisticated mix of hardcore and rock, which provides a perfect backdrop for memorable melodies and aggressive scream parts.
