Ab-Soul is a rapper from Carson, CA who is affiliated with the indie label TopDawg-Entertainment (TDE). He is also member of the hip-hop quartet Black Hippy alongside his TDE fellows Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q. Ab-Soul is the only rapper of the group who has not been raised in the projects of Los Angeles, he grew up in fair conditions. Ab-Soul is best known for his trippy, druggy and introspective yet philosphical lyrics and his unconventional flow in addition to his extravagant appearence.
